At Scottish BMX School, we’re proud to support Nimbus, a standout young BMX rider from Ayrshire. Nimbus has already made a big impact on the contest scene, climbing to No. 1 in the UK in his age group and earning a podium finish at the Red Bull Amateur Jam. These results highlight not only his talent but also the dedication and passion he brings to riding. We want to support Nimbus as he is a very stylish fast and loose style of rider which is great to see at such a young age. His style of going big and sticking to tasteful unique tricks is what we love about his riding style. Our support goes beyond just putting a logo on his frame. We’re committed to helping Nimbus progress by advising him, creating opportunities, and opening doors. That includes helping him get signed to Model Team Scotland in Glasgow, giving him exposure and experience that will benefit his BMX journey and beyond. Erin Finnigan - Guest Coach at Scottish BMX School
At Scottish BMX School, we’re proud to support Erin, a passionate BMX coach based in Fife who brings energy, expertise, and inclusivity to every session. A Scottish Cycling–qualified BMX coach, Erin offers 1-to-1 coaching for riders of all ages and abilities—whether at your local park or through her dedicated sessions. She’s not just a coach, but also an advocate for BMX as a welcoming, supportive sport. Her smooth riding style and friendly approach inspire confidence in every rider she works with. Erin also plays a key role in the wider BMX community as the founder of The Gorlz BMX, a network that connects female riders across Scotland. What started as a small group chat has grown into a vital platform for riders to meet, ride, and encourage one another—especially through the winter months. Beyond coaching, Erin has been instrumental in helping Scottish BMX School deliver events at the highest level. She was a key part of one of our biggest projects to date with Sky TV, where her energy, professionalism, and coaching skills helped make the day an unforgettable success.
